The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has partnered with Leadership in Global Change (LIGC) and Ryde School to run a summer school on the Isle of Wight from 1 to 7 August 2021.

Join us to find out more on the circular economy : a new way to design, build and use things that are better for people and the planet. We will examine the role of the circular economy in addressing global challenges such as climate change, waste and pollution and biodiversity loss.

In addition to workshops held by our circular economy experts, the United World College accredited summer school includes day trips, social activities and water sports. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, experience the beauty of the historic Isle of Wight – a place that has influenced the likes of Charles Darwin and John Keats – and learn about some of the cutting-edge ideas that shape our world today.

We must harness the creativity and passion of the next generation to realize the full potential of the circular economy. The summer school is aimed at young people who want to learn more about the global challenges we face and how we can change things for the better.
L’alloggio sarà fornito alla Ryde School e l’assistenza pastorale 24 ore su 24 sarà fornita dal team LIGC. La scuola estiva costa £ 1.600, che include tutti i pasti e le attività, con un numero limitato di posti per borse di studio disponibili. Accommodation will be provided at Ryde School and 24-hour pastoral care will be provided by the LIGC team. The summer school costs £ 1,600, which includes all meals and activities, with a limited number of scholarship places available.
