Authos measures its ESG performance and builds a three-year strategy

Authos

Authos S.p.A. has been the official Ford dealer for Turin and its province for over 60 years. 


The company covers the entire range of automotive services: retail and wholesale of new and used cars, commercial vehicles, original spare parts, short and long-term rental, maintenance and repair.

 

The context

The corporate policy developed over the years by Authos S.p.a pays particular attention to its environmental impact, as well as the well-being and safety of its human resources and customers.


With a view to pursuing continuous improvement, Authos wished to assess the milestones achieved through the projects implemented in recent years.

 

The objectives

Integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda into its corporate strategy, defining an integrated strategy across three pillars: environmental, social and economic.

We supported Authos on a structured journey with specific outputs:

MEASURING CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY


The starting point for defining an integrated strategy is to assess one's positioning on sustainability topics compared to the market and the sector in which one operates. Circularity has developed a corporate Sustainability assessment tool capable of capturing the current state of the level of sustainability achieved by the company.

Circularity supports companies on this journey:

 

  • Completion of the questionnaire assessing corporate performance against each Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)
  • Selection of key information
  • Documentary evidence required to validate the answers provided

The output of the questionnaire consists of a Report on the current corporate Sustainability performance, accompanied by an improvement plan defined on the basis of future objectives and specific monitoring indicators.

 

Authos underwent the assessment of its own performance through the Sustainability Assessment.

LAUNCHING A SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY


Following the preliminary assessment, Circularity supported Authos in drafting the Strategic Sustainability Plan, a structured pathway designed to help companies integrate sustainability into their business model.


The strategy built together with the company delivers as its output a three-year plan of concrete and measurable actions linked to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.


The plan is also accompanied each year by the Sustainability Report, in order to ensure full continuity with the reporting initiatives already implemented by the company.


Based on the GRI standard, this is the official document used to report the economic, social and environmental results generated by the company in carrying out its activities, and to communicate them to a wide audience made up of all the company's stakeholders.

  • Improvement plan with future objectives and monitoring indicators

  • Three-year Strategic Sustainability Plan with concrete and measurable actions

  • Annual Sustainability Report according to GRI standards
