La Molisana

From 100% Italian wheat to a measurable ESG strategy

Sustainability Strategic Plan and Sustainability Report
Agri-food

La Molisana

A historic Italian pasta maker, La Molisana has built its identity on supply chain quality, product innovation and a strong bond with the Molise region.

The context

In the agri-food sector, there is a growing need to demonstrate transparency, supply chain quality and attention to environmental and social impacts.

That is why La Molisana chose to launch a structured sustainability journey, enhancing the projects already in place and turning them into measurable, reportable goals.

The objectives

Define a three-year strategic plan and produce the Sustainability Report to transparently communicate the company's commitment to stakeholders, the territory and the production chain.

Circularity's contribution

We supported La Molisana through an analysis and strategic planning journey:

1
Preliminary context analysis: we analyzed industry trends, competitors and the main ESG topics relevant to the company.
2
Stakeholder engagement and material aspects: we identified priority stakeholders and strategic areas on which to focus sustainability objectives.
3
Definition of the three-year plan: we supported the company in building a plan with specific, measurable goals, organized by intervention priority.
4
Sustainability Report: we transformed corporate data, projects and initiatives into a tool for transparent reporting and communication.

The process highlighted key topics such as a 100% Italian wheat supply chain, fully recyclable FSC packaging, energy efficiency, circular economy, product innovation and support for the local territory.

The results

  • Three-year strategic plan defined with measurable ESG objectives.
  • Sustainability Report developed as a tool for transparency towards stakeholders and the market.
  • Enhancement of the “Sua Maestà il Grano” supply chain and of the commitment to quality and traceability.
  • Strengthening of initiatives on sustainable packaging, energy efficiency and circular economy.
  • Structured communication of the value generated for the territory, people and communities.
