Bifrangi
Bifrangi is a giant of steel forging and a strategic partner of the world's leading automotive groups.
With plants in Italy, Austria and the United Kingdom, the company operates in one of the most complex sectors for the ecological transition.
The context
Bifrangi's need was twofold: to respond to the new and stringent obligations of the CSRD directive and, at the same time, to maintain its position as a preferred supplier in a supply chain (the automotive one) that demands absolute transparency on ESG performance.
The objectives
Reporting environmental and social performance through a Sustainability Report aligned with the most advanced international standards.
Circularity's contribution
We managed the complexity of an industrial multinational through a rigorous data management process:
Assessment and Double Materiality: We analyzed how ESG topics influence corporate value and, symmetrically, how forging activities impact the environment and society, engaging the management of the various European sites.
ESG Data Synchronization: We implemented a uniform data collection system across Italy, Austria and the UK, standardizing information flows related to energy consumption, emissions and industrial waste management.
Report Drafting according to ESRS/VSME standards: We oversaw the strategic narrative and technical verification of the report, ensuring that the document was a ready-to-use tool for communication with banks, investors and automotive customers.
