Cobat Consorzi

A benchmark in Italy for the circular economy, the Cobat Consortia are the operational heart of Haiki Cobat.

 

Through five different supply chains, they coordinate the collection and treatment of end-of-life products, transforming the concept of waste into new raw materials for industry.

 

The context

As a leading player in the ecological transition, Cobat felt the need to set an example in its own reporting.

 

The challenge was to harmonize data from different supply chains and translate operational complexity into a Sustainability Report that met the new European standards (ESRS/GRI) and the market's expectations for transparency.

The objectives

Systematize the network's ESG performance to consolidate leadership in the recovery sector and authoritatively communicate the environmental value generated.

Circularity's intervention

We structured a rigorous reporting process to turn operational flows into informational assets:

Materiality Analysis and Assessment: We identified the most relevant impacts, risks and opportunities (IRO) for the Consortia, defining the strategic priorities on which to build the report's narrative.

Data Management and Reference Standards: We implemented a granular data collection system, ensuring full alignment with the new European standards (GRI, ESRS or VSME) to guarantee the comparability of results.

Strategic Drafting and Visualization: We oversaw the drafting of the report and its visual identity, making complex technical data accessible and highlighting the consortia's commitment to the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

The Sustainability Report is now the key tool for dialogue with institutions and businesses:
