Innflex is a dynamic and growing Italian company specialising in the production of flexible packaging with particular excellence in the pet food sector. With production facilities in Italy and Serbia, the company serves international markets combining advanced technology and operational flexibility. Since 2023, Circularity has been accompanying Innflex as an ESG partner in a structured journey integrating annual reporting, emissions management and sustainability strategic planning.
The context
Flexible packaging is today at the centre of the sustainability debate: international clients, retailers and European regulations are pushing manufacturers towards greater transparency on the environmental impact of materials and processes. For Innflex, operating with facilities in two countries and serving global markets means responding to increasingly precise demands in terms of ESG data, emissions traceability and brand credibility.
The company has chosen to address this pressure with a proactive strategy, integrating environmental and social objectives into its industrial plan and building a measurement and reporting system capable of growing with the company.
The objectives
To report ESG performance annually through a transparent and forward-looking Sustainability Report, measure the carbon footprint across Scope 1, 2 and 3 for both production sites, and define an ESG strategic plan integrated with the company's industrial objectives.

Since 2023, Circularity has been supporting Innflex across three integrated workstreams.
Annual Sustainability Report
Each year, Circularity supports Innflex in drafting and publishing its Sustainability Report, harmonising data across the production sites in Italy and Serbia and ensuring transparent and time-comparable reporting. The document is the primary tool through which Innflex communicates its ESG commitment to major international clients in the pet food sector.
Carbon Footprint measurement (GHG Protocol)
Circularity measured the company's carbon footprint for 2024 and 2025, accurately mapping Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for both production sites. The analysis identified the areas of greatest emissions impact and integrated the results into the group Sustainability Report, providing a solid data foundation for future investment decisions.
ESG strategic plan
Building on the environmental and social data collected, Circularity supported Innflex in defining concrete and measurable ESG objectives, translating them into a roadmap of investments in more efficient technologies and employee welfare. The plan is structured to accompany the company's three-year industrial plan, ensuring that operational growth and environmental impact reduction move in the same direction.
The results
The journey initiated in 2023 has equipped Innflex with an integrated and operational ESG system. The company now has an annually published Sustainability Report, a complete emissions inventory across Scope 1, 2 and 3 for all production sites, and a strategic roadmap guiding future investments in efficiency and circularity. On the reputational front, the journey has strengthened Innflex's positioning as a reliable and responsible partner in the international pet food packaging markets — a sector where ESG credibility is increasingly a strategic selection factor.
