ISP Rent Foryou is a company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group that supports and accelerates business growth through the operating lease of capital goods.

 

An organization that makes it easier for businesses to access the resources they need, without the constraints of ownership.

 

The context

During 2021, encouraged by the partnership between Circularity and Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, ISP Rent Foryou decided to give concrete form to its commitment to sustainability, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

The objectives

Assessing its sustainability performance through the Sustainability Assessment, in order to quantify the company's contribution to achieving the SDGs and obtain a clear snapshot of its areas of strength and improvement.

Circularity's intervention

At Circularity, step by step, we guided ISP Rent Foryou through the Sustainability Assessment.

Defining Materiality:

 

  • Identification of the SDGs relevant to the operating lease of capital goods business.

  • Emergence of three strategic priorities: SDG 8 (fair and sustained economic growth), SDG 10 (reduced inequalities), SDG 13 (climate action).

Performance Questionnaire:

 

  • Collection of qualitative and quantitative data on the capital goods portfolio: energy consumption, fleet management policies, asset life cycle.

  • Official documentation attached to support each declaration.

Validation by the Technical Team:

 

  • External verification of all the answers provided, turning self-assessment into a credible certification, a crucial element for a company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group committed to transparency towards clients and stakeholders.

Automatic Improvement Plan:
  • Priority: structured monitoring of environmental data linked to operational fleet management.
  • Calculation of the company Carbon Footprint, a key indicator to quantify the impact of operating leases compared with direct purchase.

Sustainability Assessment Report:

 

  • Customized report with best practices specific to the leasing and financial services sector.

The results

  • Measured Performance: ISP Rent Foryou obtained a clear and structured assessment of its sustainability, with a detailed overview of its areas of excellence and improvement.

  • Increased Awareness: The company gained greater awareness of its environmental and social impact, enabling it to guide strategic decisions in a more informed way.

  • Concrete Action Plan: Specific improvement objectives were identified, including the launch of Carbon Footprint monitoring and the implementation of sector best practices.

  • Second Assessment Underway: Wishing to consolidate its positioning as a sustainable company, ISP Rent Foryou chose to repeat the assessment to certify the progress achieved.

    The results, expected by June 2022, already show in preliminary analyses encouraging signs of significant progress along the path toward sustainability.
