Repower Italia S.p.A. is a key player in the energy market for Italian businesses.
Its offering goes beyond the simple supply of electricity and natural gas, encompassing a broad portfolio of energy efficiency solutions, electric mobility, and consulting services. Not merely a supplier, but a true energy partner.
The context
Repower recognised the need to gain clarity on its carbon footprint: to understand how greenhouse gas emissions are distributed across the value chain, distinguish those directly attributable to the company from those generated indirectly by suppliers and customers, and identify the areas where decarbonisation efforts could be most effectively focused.
Alongside this, Repower faced the need to communicate its sustainability journey in a structured and credible way, making its ESG performance readable and meaningful to all stakeholders.
To address both challenges, Repower turned to Circularity.
The objectives
To map and quantify the company's direct and indirect emissions across the entire value chain through a greenhouse gas inventory compliant with international standards, and to translate those results — together with the company's full ESG performance — into a clear, structured, and visually refined sustainability report.

Corporate Carbon Footprint
Circularity developed an emissions inventory in accordance with the GHG Protocol: a systematic process of mapping and estimating the direct and indirect emissions attributable to the company.
The process can be compared to taking a photograph of the "Repower Italia family": the photographer selects the most appropriate lens (ISO or GHG Protocol), ensures all key subjects are in sharp focus in the foreground — capturing all entities consolidated in the financial statements — and arranges the scene elements in the background through the mapping of indirect emission categories.
The final photograph provides a clear picture of how significant the company's direct emissions are relative to those of the entire value chain — enabling Repower to prioritise its decarbonisation efforts and exert a positive influence across its supply chain.
Integrated Sustainability Report
Since 2023, Circularity has supported Repower Italia in drafting and designing its integrated sustainability report. A document that goes beyond data reporting to build a coherent narrative around the company's ESG identity: from environmental governance to social policies, from supply chain management to community commitments.
The service covers content structuring in line with leading reference frameworks, copywriting, and graphic layout — delivering a final document that is both rigorous in substance and accessible in form.
The results
The GHG inventory gave Repower a complete and structured view of its carbon footprint, enabling the company to shape its emissions reduction strategies on the basis of solid, scientifically validated data.
The sustainability report, drafted and designed by Circularity from 2023 onwards, made this journey visible and credible to all stakeholders — customers, investors, partners, and employees — strengthening Repower's positioning as an energy operator with a genuine commitment to sustainability.
