WiQo chose to address the climate challenge by reporting its carbon footprint (ISO 14064) and analyzing the environmental impact of its products to ensure maximum transparency across global markets.
The objectives
Define a structured climate roadmap and use the LCA methodology to improve the sustainability of the product life cycle.
Circularity's intervention
We guided WiQo through a measurement and climate strategy journey structured in three phases:
Carbon Footprint Mapping (Scope 1-2-3): We analyzed the emissions generated by the company, covering direct consumption and emissions tied to the entire international supply chain
Product LCA Study: We scientifically analyzed every stage of the life cycle of the main cosmeceuticals, from chemical formulation to production through to packaging end of life.
Development of the Decarbonization Strategy: We identified lower impact suppliers and raw materials (Green Procurement), building a climate roadmap integrated into the company's growth plans.
