Aluberg
A center of excellence in the production of aluminum packaging materials and flexible laminates.
Its products are critical components for safety and preservation in the pharmaceutical and food sectors at an international level.
The context
Operating in supply chains where compliance and traceability are minimum requirements, Aluberg decided to take a step forward by focusing on radical transparency.
The company needed to scientifically quantify its carbon footprint (ISO 14064) and qualify its supply chain according to sustainability criteria.
The objectives
Build a decarbonization strategy based on scientific evidence and strengthen the company's social impact through equity and inclusion.
Circularity's intervention
We implemented multidisciplinary support to cover the entire spectrum of industrial sustainability:
Carbon Footprint Quantification (Scope 1, 2, 3): We mapped the emissions generated across the entire operational perimeter between 2019 and 2023, analyzing every phase, from aluminum sourcing to thermal transformation processes.
ESG Supply Chain Assessment: We developed an evaluation model for suppliers, identifying risks and opportunities along the value chain to ensure that every link in production meets high ethical and environmental standards.
Gender Equality Audit: We guided the company toward obtaining the Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022), analyzing HR processes, internal culture, and welfare policies.
The results
-
Validated climate strategy: Data ready for alignment with Science Based Targets (SBTi).
-
Resilient supply chain: Greater control over indirect impacts and reduction of reputational risks.
-
Social leadership: Consolidation of an inclusive work environment that is attractive to talent.
